Lapland - Thermal Suits

My husband wants to take our family to Lapland this year and I am having a heart attack. I am a UK Size 26/28. Please can anyone tell me if there are thermal suits on hire there that would fit me. I would die of mortificate if I go and there aren%26#39;t.

Don%26#39;t worry about your size. The safari companies generally stock many suits in many sizes.

If you are worried, it is probably best to notify the tour operator / safari company (depending upon how you booked it) , to ensure peace of mind.

Thanks a million for getting back to me. What kind of clothing do you recommend to take with you considering both adults and children. A friend recommends just bring a change of underwear and socks and that way we can board the plane with just hand luggage. I%26#39;m not too sure. What do you think ??

We went in March and just wore some light thermal underwear under our ski suits, no tops, no trousers, just very light thermal underwear!

Take some warm clothing for under your ski suits.Temp last year when we were there was between 1 degrees to minus 27 so you will need more than a change of underwear.

You will need more than just undies ! The temp changes quickly so be prepared to take layers! You should find a suit to fit,there were several larger bodies there when I went! The best thing is that no one takes any notice of what you wear, but just that it is for warmth...how refreshing! You make sure you go it is incredible!!
