1st timer to lapland taking my 7yr grandson, any advise to which resort has the least transfer time,we need to fly from bristol or exeter hopeful to doing a 3night stay.who are the most favoured agents to go with

Levi and Ruka are both near airport.

I would take a look at espirit,emagine travel and inghams short santa breaks.
Saariselka is also another resort where the transfer time is around 20 minutes if you fly into ivalo with emagine or espirit.

Also worth taking alook at www.santatrips.co.uk as there seems to be some good deals on there too for shorter lapland breaks.
