Bus from Tampere to Kangasniemi

We would like to travel from Tampere Airport to Kangasniemi by bus or train. can anyone tell me if this is possible and if what websites i need to be looking at to book tickets etc, thanks.

First you need to get to Tampere from the airport (I%26#39;m sure someone else is better at answering you that). Bus connections from Tampere Airport to Tampere are listed at www.finavia.fi/airport_tampere-pirkkala… (the Airpro bus schedules are the connections to/from Ryanair flights, i.e. Terminal 2).

You can also search for public transportation connections in Finland at http://www.journey.fi/ . That service contains train and bus connections up to 1 month prior to the travel date.

There is no direct connection. I quickly looked at the connection alternatives and would recommend to take the bus where you need to change in Jyväskylä. See matkahuolto.fi for the schedules.

You don%26#39;t need to book in advance but buy at Tampere bus station a ticket all the way to Kangasniemi so it is cheaper than two legs separately.
