I need some advise about the best way to get by public transportation from the airport to my hostel located at: Linnankatu 9, Helsinki City.

I.e. take a public bus from the airport to Helsinki Central Railway Station, change there to the tram #4. The regional ticket costs 4 EUR and will be valid for the entire journey (but not valid on Finnair City Bus). The public buses (615) depart from platform 21 (Terminal 2) and platform 2 (Terminal 1).
Finnair City Bus will cost 5.90 EUR to the Helsinki Central Railway Station and that ticket is valid only for that journey, i.e. you%26#39;d have to buy a separate single ticket for the tram journey. The Finnair City Bus departs from platforms 1 (Terminal 1) and 10 (Terminal 2).
