A wonderful day trip is to visit Tallin Estonia. A jet cat takes you from Helsinki to and from Tallin in one day easily. The old part of Tallin is beautiful full of restaurants, shops, churches and architecture to marvel at. Do check out whether you will need a visa.

No visa is required for travel inside the Schengen zone, such as Helsinki-Tallinn.
