Baltic Princess Cruise

My wife and I are taking the 9/09 Baltic Cruise and docking in Helsinki and St. Petersburg.

I would like us however to see Moscow as well aside St.Petersburg and Helsinki. What can you recommend us to do without getting a Russian Visa, using the Ships%26#39;s excursion trip. There is a trip which will show us Helsink, followed by a train ride to Moscow and returning back to St. Petersburg. Will I have enough time to tour the City of Peter upon our return from Moscow. The ships%26#39;s brochure is not clear about it.

Thanks

You%26#39;d be better off asking the cruise operator.

Thanks.

That trip from Helsinki to Moscow and St.Petersburg requires( from reading further their brochure),a Russian Visa which they tell me is difficult to get. I think, much as I would like to see the Red Square/Kremlin and the St. Basil%26#39;s Cathedral, we will stick to St.Petersburg sights. I am sure knowing the options, this is a wiser move.

Furthermore, the Ship%26#39;s brochure does not mention any excursions to the St. Peter%26#39;s area.

Thanks again.

A friend of mine went last year with Red October tours. None of the tours are cheap, but he swears they are the best. The more people, the cheaper the tours. In August , 9 of us have booked with them and we will be able in two days to see all the most important Churches, palaces, etc. Tell Mike that Sam referred you. Check Google for Red October tours.
