I need advice on whether or not it is necessary to pre-book the train from St. Petersburg to Helsinki near the end of September, Saturday the 26th to be exact. Likewise, do I need to pre-book my day trip to Tallinn and my ferry to Stockholm (from Helsinki) a few days later. Thanks for the help!

I don%26#39;t know about trains, but there is practically no need to book Tallinn ferries ahead of time. The Stockholm ferries can sometimes be crowded on weekend departures and you may not get the cabin class you want.
