extra trips in Luosto with Canterbury Travel

Hi Off to Luosto for xmas (with wife + 2 kids 9+6) for 5 days any worth while trips I should know about?

Hi, can%26#39;t remember the name of it but we did an extra excursion that we booked at the Scandic Restuarant. It consisted of a trip into the candle light Forest in a skidoo pulled sledge ( all wrapped up in blankets). We then cooked sausages over a fire with a lovely couple of traditional laplanders and had pancakes too! Then we had a much longer journey back through the forest. It was fabulous and we are going to go on the same one this year. Yes, Luosto was so magical, we are going back again!

Thanks for that it sounds great, nothing quite like fine dinning! Let%26#39;s just hope there%26#39;s plenty of snow in 5.5 weeks time.

Just to say we went on a 5 day Canterbury Travel trip to Luosto a couple of years ago.

It was a brilliant holiday but very tiring. We were glad of our day off mid holiday. You can read my review by clicking on my name.

Wondered what you thought of the Santa? I have written to complain about him being so young and unconvincing with his obvious false beard, lack of character and what looked like a cushion stuffed up his tunic!Our son of 6 years was not convinced and didn%26#39;t believe he was the real one :-(

We did not have a problem with our Santa. He was old, had a real beard, was naturally cuddly and VERY convincing! My daughter truly believed (and still does) that he was real, she is now nearly 11! My husband and myself were pretty convinced too!

So sorry that you had a poor Santa. Maybe our %26#39;Santa%26#39; has retired or was taking a day off.

I can%26#39;t fault our holiday and still say it was the best one we have ever taken.
