I would really appreciate aby advice concerning the following question:
I have a plane at 3:20pm leaving from Helsinki airport. I am coming from Tallinn.
I want to know if I take the first ferry at 11am, will I arrive in time for my flight?
Also, are the ferry services reliable? I.e. are they ever canceled or late?
(There are no ferries before 11am, so if I am risking missing my plane, I%26#39;ll have to leave the day before and sleep in Helsinki to be sure...)

Hi!
You might make it, but I think it might be a bit tight. It will also take you some time to get to the airport from the harbour. Where are you flying to, i.e. when do you have to be checked in?
When are you travelling? During the summer? Are you leaving on a sunday? Because mon-sat there is a tallink ferry at 7.30 and a lindalines ferry at 8.00. Viking line seems to have a departure at 8.00 all days at least during the summer and linda line one departure at 10 every day during the summer. Viking and Silja are big ferries, linda line uses small catamaran boats that are off course more easily affected by the weather.

i am leaving on a Wednesday, in August.
My plane goes to Iceland. I imagine i have to be checked in a bit before.
As for those lines who mentioned, I will look into it because that would be great if there was a morning one. I had read that Directferries (the website) included all ferry lines, but perhaps not...

Helsinki airport isn%26#39;t that big and usually quite efficient. But July is the busiest month for summer holidays in Finland, so the queues might be longer than usual for check-in and security.

No problem. Take the 8 or 10 AM departure from Tallinn with Linda Line. It only takes 1½ hours so you%26#39;ll be in plenty of time.
I advise getting to the airport 2 hours before your flight time if you are departing on a weekend in July. Finnish package tourists tend to clog up the airport at weekends in the main vacation period (late June and July in this country). I barely made my flight one Sunday a couple of weeks ago.
