Wearing Snow boots in Hotel Restaurants??

Hi,this our first ever ski/snow holiday. We are going to Levi in January with our 3 children aged 16,17 and 21yrs. staying in the K5 Chalets and have booked half board meals at the K5 hotel, would just like to know if we need to take other foot wear apart fromour snow boots for going into the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals...do people dress up in the evenings or just wear their ski wear? any advise would be much appreciated.

Levi lives on ski tourism and the dress code is accordingly relaxed. Just get the worst of the snow off your boots and no one will have any problem with whatever you choose to wear.

No dressing up required - most people are still in the ski wear in the evening - you will be able to wear jeans or pants and nip to the hotel without freezing it isnt far from your cabin .

you will be fine in your snow boots and in your ski gear if you want to stay in it too (sallopettes) - it%26#39;s very chilled and no one bats an eyelid at what you wear

Thankyou for the replies, glad its casual/ski wear in the restaurants as I really didnt want to be packing half my wardrobe to take with me...you know what us women can be like for taking everything but the kitchen sink!!! I just became a little worried with not going on a ski holiday before and after searching the hotel and seeing how posh the restaurant looked.

We have taken the h/b option at the k5 hotel before and really anything does go.Some dress up but i do think that is mainly those who are staying in the hotel.

Most of the guests that take the h/b option there that are staying in the cabins will be in there ski wear whilst eating or just having a drink.

Thanks, I thought that maybe the case as those staying in chalets have to walk in the snow to the hotel for their meals. we picked the K5 because my husband and my sons wanted the freedom of a log cabin in the woods, whilst myself and my daughter wanted the comfort of a hotel for breakfast ect, so we compromised with the K5 chalet/hotel. Looks a nice place,we just cant wait to go now!
