we are going to Lapland on 6th December with our 3 children (aged 2, 4 and 10 years). I need some advice on what to wear etc. Inghams are providing our snow gear but ive heard it is mega cold. What type of clothing should i buy for them for under their snow suits? Is there anything i should invest in for them to make our lives a bit easier??? Should i buy thermals or waterproofs?? I really have no idea!!! Is there anything else i should know? Is there any point on taking my buggy for the youngest child? Sorry about all the questions!

We went in December 2007 and my youngest was 16 months old. I didn%26#39;t bother taking a pushchair and I am glad I didn%26#39;t as there was no ocassion while I was that that I would have needed it. When we needed to get around if she got fed up walking we would just put her in a sled and pull her, much more fun than a pushchair.
We also had the snow suits supplied by First Choice, they were really warm. Under the suits my kids had thermal long johns and thermal vests, a fleece and joggers and they were plenty warm enough, in fact too hot sometimes so they went without the fleece and joggers. We took gloves, hats and balaclavas with us also.
You will have a great time, we have been twice now but sadly are not going back next year but will certainly be going back in the future.

When we went with FC they provided the thermal suits, socks, balaclavas, hats and gloves. We took our own but ended up wearing the ones provided as they were much better. Mind you always good to have more than one set of things for the kids as if they get wet you can change them.
