The beginning of December is really busy time in Rovaniemi and most

accommodations may be already fullybooked.

However, check these sites for cabins located approx. 3 km from

Rovaniemi city center:

Try www.laplandwelcome.fi . They have got cottages a bit further from town.

As LaplandRita recommended check Ounasvaaran Pirtit and Ounasvaaran Lakituvat. Cabins locate within a walking distance from the ski center and only 3-4 km from the city center. Cabins of LaplandWelcome locate about 20 km from the city.
