I am planning to take a European vaction with teenagers around a year from now, and I was looking for some advice. Like to spend about 21 days including flight. Looking to free travel with the euro rail. Like to visit the most places we can to get an great overall experience of Europe. On a budget since having to save for a few years. Any advice?

You%26#39;re planning to spend 21 days traveling and you%26#39;%26#39;ve copied this posting into 21 country forums? The first thing you need to do is narrow down your focus. Get a couple of general guidebooks for Europe and trim your itinerary to a small number of countries or you%26#39;ll spend all your time getting from one place to another.

As much as I like Finland, it a great country to visit in summer. The winter scan be quite dreary; short days, etc. On the other hand, the spas %26amp; saunas are wonderful.. If you teenage kids would like some Scan. Country in winter, I would suggest Iceland (hot water, scenery, quite inexpensive these days of financial crisis). Bring them back in summer, the do St. Petersburg %26amp; the Baltics...
I think you need to involve your teenagers in planning, then posting your specific questions on specific forums....

I agree with John, you need to focus - choose a theme or an area, and a handful of countries. Otherwise everything will be just a blur and you will be exhausted, spending all your time travelling from A to B.
