Is it extremely cold in Helsinki and Tallinn now?

Hi I am Sharon from Tropical Singapore, and will be coming to Helsinki and Tallinn next week, would like to know the weather is it very cold there? Thank you so much for your wonderful help in advance :)

Yes, extremly cold. All the ice bears walking in the streets are clothed in their furs. Seriously there are weather forecasts on the net, just google weather helsinki.

Or the leaves already drop on the ground?

Fränk is pulling your leg. The temperature is +8 degrees and sunny (at the moment), with some clouds and occasional rain.

Coming from Singapore you may well find it %26#39;extremely%26#39; cold here. You should bring something showerproof, for sure.

The weather is set to stay like this for the next few days.

the weather is just turning colder but there might be sunny autumn days ahead. Leaves are yellow and red in southern Finland, it%26#39;s very beatiful so take your time to see some areas outside city center to see all the colours.

BUT it%26#39;s still getting colder, bring a hat to cover your head and ears as well and something to cover your trough and neck. Glows are a must too in this climate. So long you are covering above mentioned points and have an overcoat, you%26#39;ll feel pretty warm whatever you are wearing under your coat.

It%26#39;s very common that you start swetting when over dressed and then you%26#39;ll just get a cold when letting the extra layers ...balance is important even in clothing!

Thanks for the great info, I had just returned to Singapore from Helsinki and Tallinn, and I have seen autumn colors in both countries, it is so beautiful, I really in love with the Autumn season + colorful maple leaves so much so much, just couldn%26#39;t describe at all !!!
