Saariselka, Ruka or Salla?

Hi we have found some reasonable priced log cabins in these 3 areas and cannot choose between them? Any advice?

We%26#39;d like somewhere close to a little village but were not fussy - as long as there are a few shoops near by an maybe a nice restaurant or two?

Any advice appreciated x

salla - the main village is 10k away on where the inghams go there is only a mini mart

ruka - everything in one place and ski resort right on your door

saariselka - chic village with the cabins a short distance (walking) from the shops etc

personally I would go to saariselka but there is a 3 hour bus journey from the airport if you are going with inghams

All resorts are worth while experiencing, but on the basis what you told I agree with Poe and recommend Saariselka. Salla is small and cozy, but the village is further away. Ruka is busier at times, which may be a little bit too much for your liking.
