Canterbury Travel & Pyha Hotel Suite rooms

Hi -

We%26#39;re interested in booking a 3 day tour with Canterbury Travel and staying in the Pyha Hotel Suite rooms. I keep seeing reviews for Pyha Log Cabins but does anyone know about the Hotel Suite Rooms? And, any experience with Canterbury Travel?

all I know is that they have been cancelling trips so make sure you do your research and get assurances from them that you will actually be going

canterbury have cancelled our trip and we booked in january and paid our £425 dep they have been no help what so ever and i cant begin to tell you how dissapointed we are .i asked my local travel agent about them today and she said they do this every year,

I%26#39;m not now entirely sure are you staying at the Hotel Pyhätunturi rooms or at the ski in appartements. Both are quite nice I would guess. I%26#39;ve stayed at the ski in (Pyhä Suites) Appartements when they were band new on 2006 - then it was really nice.

I can warmly recommend Pyhä - you can really experience Lapland%26#39;s nature at it%26#39;s best there. =)

They have just cancelled the Artic express trip too, as you said they have been no help informing me that I have only two other options on airports that are both 2 hours away from where I live and only one tour to choose from.....They are also still avertising this but saying it is fully booked.....strange as they have cancelled saying %26quot;not enough people have taken the trip up!%26quot;.

Lots of companies are cancelling holidays...if they find that they cannot sell these holidays then it is not cost effective to go! As Canterbury prices are high I can understand why,in this climate ,they are having trouble filling planes! Last year other companies combined flights so I guess they are trying to do this or something similar.

I however am not saying this is right, especially as I know people book their time off and look forward to their holidays,and for them I feel sorry.

but when they have a flight going out of your choosen airport with seats available they should honour your free child place they have after all had our money in their bank account for 10 months we can go if we pay the full amount ,i just wonder how many people they have let down and just how much of other peoples money they have had for the laST 10 MONTHS in their bank .

Bethbel...I totally agree that they should honour your free child place! Trouble is they are within their rights to cancel your holiday at any time and refund you! Grrrrr...

I would now look at other companies and try to get a better deal- maybe a real cheapie and pay for luxurious excursions when you get there..!
