plus how far is the olimpic stadia away from the centre of helsinki.

The Olympic stadium is within a stiff walk of the city centre in a straight line along Mannerheimintie - dead easy. A more interesting walk is along the train tracks (left-hand side) through a park virtually the whole way - you%26#39;ll see the stadium as you get close, distance practically the same. Alternatively it%26#39;s a 5-minute tram ride on Mannerheimintie.
