Is it ok for couples??

Me + my boyfriend are thinking of going to lapland in December but were wondering if it is suitable for couples?

I read one review that said they were the only couple there was nothing for adults

Just wondering as Ive always wanted to go and am a big kid anyway

it%26#39;s brill for all ages and plenty to do for everyone, you don%26#39;t have to be a child to enjoy playing in the snow, going on snowmobiles, husky trips etc

you will love it there

Ok thanks

Can you recommend any good companies to book with?

Were looking at going for a few nights

Thankyouu

Try someone like first choice There were some deals on lastminute.com

If you can go when the kids are in school rather than the holidays these will be the cheaper options..or a week if you can spend the time would probably work out cheaper!

Although I have taken my daughter I firmly believe Lapland is a magical place even if Santa is not on your wish list you will be amazed at how much you can do... Skiing,-down hill and x country sledging, huskis, reindeer, ice fishing, watching for the northern lights, snow shoes, ice hotel and village...Plenty ...

We often left our daughter with friends later at night as we went out to play in the snow..and had some sledge races! Me a kid you bet! and I am not letting on my real age!!

a few nights will cost you the same as a week - would you consider a week? if so look at inghams

they have some offers on at the mo and if you look at lastminute under finland you will find the polar star which you may find interesting as it%26#39;s a catered chalet and great value too

|||

that looks fab, really cheap too just waiting to see if boyfriend can get the week off now..

if not i have found some christmas cottages for £463 in rovaniemi for a few nights, do you know what its like there? i heard sometimes they dont get as much snow and were looking to go around 5th/6th dec, is it too commersialised?

also found the snow princess hotel for £505 in yllas but think we would prefer cottage, cabin, chalet that kind of thing

thanks for all the help x

you are more likely to have guaranteed snow in the more northern resorts..if you can spare the time go for a week..you wont be disapointed...

we go back year after year!

S91J There are some really cheap deals coming up on lastminute.com from BRISTOL to YLLAS staying in cabins from £199..if there is just two of you it will be a little more due to supliments but is a fantastic deal!

It also includes parking your car at Bristol!

Note to anyone else.. these deals are for various dates in December and will vary on how many stay in the cabin!

Good Luck x
