Have any of you done the reigndeer safari day trip?

Hi all am off to Yllas on 2nd december and am wondering what day trips are offred from there please? We are booked with first choice and have already done the Husky safari day trip in 2007 which was fab. I am wondering if the reigndeer safari is worth a try? The trips are very expensive so just wanted to know any personal suggestions please.

Snow mobile trip is fab and a must do . you can hire them for the day - i personally thought the reindeer was a bit boring as we got plodders but have heard some can go like the clappers.

Take a trip to the animal farm in yllas - they do a 10euro husky ride and do kids pony rides, theres sledging and much more there - its a good place to spend half a day.

We went with Inghams the first time to Yllas and yes we did the reindeer safari, it was really lovely, and I thought for the amount of time the trip was and what it included was good value. The kids really enjoyed meeting the reindeers and feeding them too, and then we sat round a big fire and ate the sweet sugar bread and drank hot berry juice whilst listening to the local family talk about their life.

Not sure if you have done snowmobiling, but if you want to give it a go try www.snowfunsafaris.com

They are really reasonably priced and we will come and collect you from your accomodation and take you back after.

I did contact them and they emailed back saying bokking would be no problem and that we can do it once we arrive.
