Fishing in Rovaniemi

Good day.

We are fishermen from Lithuania and we are interested in spending some time in Finland (Lapland) during the end of November. So we would like to know, what sort of fresh water fishing we will be introduced to? I mean, open water or ice fishing, lakes or rivers, types of fish?

Also, if you don%26#39;t mind telling us about the weather conditions in the region? And weather difficulties please. And lastly, we are traveling on our car.

I%26#39;m afraid that time is too early for ice fishing and too late for open water angling. There are both lakes and rivers in the area, but you won%26#39;t see many (if any) people fishing in late November.

There should be snow on the ground by then. It%26#39;s too early to tell for sure.

The range of fish species caught in Lapland is very wide. It%26#39;s famous for its salmon, for one.
