Question on "Holiday Inn - Helsinki City Centre"

Is the area around this hotel safe? No red light area/too many bars, right?

I saw it is very conveniently located from Train station and Airport shuttle bus stop.

I assume it is an easy ride from the train station to the Tallinn ferry terminal?

Thanks

Hello!

Anywhere in the world the busiest spot in the city is around the railway/bus station. That%26#39;s the case in Helsinki, too.

The area of %26quot;Holiday Inn - Helsinki City Centre%26quot; the most central one in town, with a lot of bars, shops, department stores, restaurants etc because those all need to be conveniently located where people are coming and going.

However, Helsinki is a relatively small city with somewhat over half a million inhabitants, and it%26#39;s also generally a safe city for visitors, too.

There are 2 ports with Tallinn ferry terminals, so you need to know which company you are taking. All terminals are just a short ride from the railway station and they can conveniently be reached with public transportation or taxis.

Aa_Finn,

Thanks! I am ok with a busy location. Just dont want it near night clubs/red light areas, thats all. Based on your response I am assuming this hotel is away from night clubs/red light areas
