Hi, I am thinking of going to Levi either xmas or New Year, is the snow guaranteed at this time of year or could it be dissapointing ?

Have been going to lapland since 2002 early december and there has always been snow.
Went last year over new year to Saariselka and the snow conditions were great.
Some years the snowfall has been better than others due to rising temp and the snow melting and becoming very icey.

Hi,We chose Lapland last year for the snow and we were in white bliss!!!!Having previously fell in love with Kranjska Gora in Slovenia but our last visit was a let down as it was just melting slush on the ground and icy slopes.How different last year was in Phya.We went for New Year and it is simply lovely.We landed in falling snow,the transfer from the airport was winter wonderland from start to finish and we walked in deep powdery snow to our door.We are doing Saariselka this new year and cant wait.The snow has already started.I%26#39;m sure you will be delighted!!!Enjoy.xx

There will be snow, has always been so far. The climate change has not yet ruined the chance to enjoy white Christmas.

Yes pretty much guaranteed especially in the more northern resorts...
