What is is best way to get from Scotland to the Faroes this summer by boat? can we still go from Scrabster?

Welcome to TA.

There is no ferry service from Scotland to Faroe now. The only ferry service to Faroe plies between Denmark and Iceland.

I believe Atlantic Airways fly a seasonal service from Stansted. They used to serve Aberdeen and Lerwick but I think those have stopped. Even flying your best bet may be via Denmark.
