I am planning to visit Finland in January for 6 days. Apparently any suggestions for me to utilise my days in Finland?I wish to go the Santa Claus Village. Apart from the air trasportation, is there any other alternatives? Thanks for sharing!

You need to do some basic reading to get a general idea of what might interest you. You%26#39;ve posted this in the Helsinki forum but the Santa Claus village is in Lapland, so the first thing is to decide which region you fancy.
Start with these:

Santa Claus Village locates in Rovaniemi and it takes 10-12 hours by train from Helsinki. Find out more at www.vr.fi.
If you are interested in outdoor activities you might want to try husky, reindeer or snowmobile safari, skiing and snowshoe walking. For those who are interested in the northern way of living I recommend a visit to Arktikum, the provincial museum of Lapland (www.arktikum.fi).
I just posted some tips to Rovaniemi forum, check the thread %26quot;Travelling with small children%26quot;.
