Last Minute deals for New Year 2009/10

Hello!

I still haven%26#39;t booked to head to Lapland this coming season as my husband and I would like to take our boys for a longer time, but at a more reasonable cost.

We are seriously considering last minute options for a New Year break and wondered whether anyone has had any such deals - when is best to start tracking them and also whether availability is likely for the New Year Period....

Ideally - we prefer a log cabin rather than a hotel -flexible on the rest!!!!

Any experiences would be most welcome before I end up breaking the bank and booking something up already (sooooo tempted!!!) :o) THANKS

There still seems to be lots of availability left on the inghams website at the moment which is unusual for over the new year period.

There are a few deals coming up on the inghams website for new year but theses are for hotels only at the moment.

I would check lastminute.com and on the inghams website daily as they have deals coming up all the time now.

I check several times a day at the moment for myself and really worth keeping a close eye.

they have got the catered chalet in yllas available for just before christmas - they did have christmas week up but it%26#39;s now gone so just keep any eye out as that was a fab deal - it was on lastminute

if you can go out of school hols then there will be deals to be had - half term hols etc are going to be harder I thinks
