Airport to Helsinki Center

Noticed a %26quot;615%26quot; bus can also be used. Is this convenient? Or a hassle?

I couldnt figure out timings from Center back to Airport. Is there a good link for that?

If you want to use a bus (instead of a taxi or an airport-taxi) you can use the following busses: finnair city bus ( timetable here: http://www.finnair.com/finnaircom/wps/wcm/resources/file/eb145e076435a30/FINCB_0308_AIKATAULU.pdf) or the 615 / 615T busses (timetables using the journey planner: http://www.ytv.fi/eng just input %26quot;helsinki railway station%26quot; at the %26quot;from%26quot; -field and %26quot;airport%26quot; at the %26quot;to%26quot; -field. You also should input the date and time you want to go to the airport.

The Finnair city bus is a bit more expensive (5,90 euros), the 615 is a bit cheaper (4,90 e if I remember correctly)

No hassle. The 615 is a little cheaper than the Finnair bus and only slightly slower. If you buy a single ticket on the 615 you can use it for the remainder of one hour on other city transport (trams and city buses, for instance).

Maybe this helps: ytv.fi/ENG/…frontpage.htm

Timetables: http://aikataulut.ytv.fi/linjat/en/s615.html Airport-Helsinki services are listed under Lentoasema, T2 lait. 21 (meaning Terminal 2 platform 21), and Helsinki-Airport services are listed under Rautatientori, lait. 5 (meaning Railway Square, platform 5). Railway Square is on the eastern side of the Station. Single fare is 4 EUR.

Notice: the Finnair City Buses (single fare 5.90 EUR) arrive and depart on the other (western) side of the Helsinki Central Railway Station, i.e. from Eliel Square (Elielinaukio), platform 30.
