Hi snowprincess74, I have only seen the Artic Experience brochure - which looks

very

impressive - but I don%26#39;t know what their service is like I%26#39;m afraid

However it is very straight forward to organise things independently once you

have the contacts.

Rami at the Ice hotel can arrange the chapel, photographer, flowers,

transportation, reception and things like that his website www.yllassafarit.net

or emails - rami@yllassafarit.net or info@yllassafarit.net

Anja at the local magistrate office can arrange your official paperwork,

arrange dates and times at the chapel and a local magistrate to conduct the

ceromony (lovely words) her email is anja.pumpanen@maistraatti.fi

Both Rami and Anja speak great english and are really helpful.

All the best with your plans I hope you have just as a magical day as we had,

I can recommend a wedding whilst it is dark so that you get the full effect of

the glow of the candles in the woods and in the chapel - truly wonderful.

Please feel free to ask any further questions - I%26#39;m happy to help anyone to

experience a wedding in such a lovely part of the world.

Hi, thanks very much for those contacts.

My other main concern is the wedding photos. When we went skiing there in January, there wasnt much light and all our photos were grey/blue. Did your wedding photos come out well? What month did you get married in?

Thanks again for your advice, its nice to talk to someone who has already got married there.

Hi

We got married in December and alot of our personal photos taken on digital cameras were very grey/blue but the professional photos were fine, some photos took a while to take and we had to keep very still - all to do with the shutter speed apparently. However the photos taken outside in the dark with the reindeer etc were fine.

The photographer took about 50 photos and put them on a CD (so you can get as many as those duplicated etc back home) and put approx 25 in an album (a very dated 1970%26#39;s style - obviously easily changed back here ) the photographer was about 300 euros and came with an assistant/translator his website is www.studiovesaloponen.fi and his email vesa.loponen@studiovesaloponen.fi My one comment is if you want any particular photo shots ie family or certain poses mention it because he did not give us much direction as to where and how to stand etc he just fired away - which suited our small informal wedding - only 5 of us. The reindeer got plenty of pictures and almost stole the %26#39;show%26#39; but then it was rather stunning!

It%26#39;s a pleasure to answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards

hi,

Thanks for the email and website address. On the day of the wedding, where did you get ready? Was there somewhere near the chapel?

Also where did you get the reindeer ride from, was it in the snow village? We are thinking of staying in the cabins nr hotel Akas and it is quite a distance from the snow village.

Cheers
