Some days in Finnland

Hi VTs,

I have to go to Finland for business purpose from 22.9 to 26.9 and I want to stay there some more days. I fly in via Helsinki and from there to Tampere.

So that’s all so far. Maybe you have some ideas what I can do up there. I’m thinking about doing a kind of multi city trip or so what do you think?

It%26#39;s not the greatest time of year, the end of September, but Helsinki has plenty of cultural offerings, museums and the like, and Tampere has some. If you get a fine day, strolling around the more interesting parts of either city is enjoyable. Pick up some free info at the city tourist office during your business trip and check out what seems most appealing to you.

From Helsinki a day trip to the old Hanseatic city of Tallinn is worth doing.

Thx for your answer, I think I will fly u ~2 days earlier so I can spend some time in Tampere and then do my work up there, it%26#39;s just the question if I could do something around there. After that I travel to Helsinki and spend some days there and go to Talinn. So that%26#39;s my very rough plan so far.

I%26#39;m pretty free in choosing how many days I want to take off, so is there anything special upcoming in this area and do you know good hostel, would be nice to have some travelmates ;).
