I need to know where exactly it will take place and what´s on the program on both days.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

The event will take place at Helsinki Malmi airport, which is located about 10 km norht-east from central Helsinki.

- See more information at the airport information page:

www.finavia.fi/airport_helsinki-malmi…

The event is arrange by The Finnish Aeronautical Association.

On Google Maps, look for Malmi, Helsinki, and you%26#39;ll find the crossing runways a couple of km to the east of the railway.

Unfortunately the web pages of the event are in Finnish only, but using a translation tool like Google translate, you can get an idea of the contents. (If URL in the tool doesn%26#39;t work, copy all contents of the page and paste it into the box. Select from Finnish (Suomi) to e.g. English.)

The program description on the pages isn%26#39;t accurate yet - but they promise to publish a daily program later.

Hi Aa_Finn,

thanks for yor reply. I´d like to see Leningrad Cowboys, they should have a concert on Saturday evening, so I´ll buy tickets only for this day. Hope they won´t change it.

There is also bus connection from railway station, so the location seems OK.

Hello Bakul!

The Helsinki International Airshow web-pages have now been updated, and there are also pages in English.

- Also the program is now there in much more detail.

Leningrad Cowboys %26amp; The Red Army Air Force Choir will be performing on Saturday night.

Looks good. Actually just ordered tickets for Saturday for my son and myself. :-)

Hello Aa_Finn!

Thanks again for giving me information. I have already bought tickets for me and my husband in June and hope I will be able to collect them at Tiketti office on Friday - just one day before the event. Our flight must be on time :o)

I´m not sure which option for public transport tickets is the right one for us. Helsinki card seems a good value, but we´ll be in Helsinki 5 days, on Saturday spending the whole day at Air Show and Sunday many museums are closed. Maybe Tourist ticket for 5 days is better?

Hi!

The event%26#39;s public transportation options are presented on the info pages of the event.

- If you are staying in Helsinki, the connection from Malmi railway station is the best for you.

- If you are staying in Vantaa or coming from the airport, the connection from Tikkurila is the most convenient in that case.

Both stations are within easy reach by local commuter trains.
