crystal ski to Finland??

Have Crystal ski stopped going to Lapland??

We have the preview brochure and it is in there, but looked online and they are not offering it???

Any-one know why??

They pulled out months ago, Inghams, First Choice and Neilsons are still going. They said not enough demand, recession blah blah blah, Inghams have reduced the airports from the uk also :-(

cheers Shell. I posted on here last year as they cancelled our holiday on us the week before we were due to leave.

We did give some thought to going this year but it was not online and I was wondering why.

A lot of people are booking independant this year and saving a small fortune, plus that way they wont get cancelled.

I had probs last year with crystal,changing our board basis at last min.Glad we had already booked with Inghams for this year as folks were having probs getting an answer from crystal for weeks.Some were getting deposits back,others were told nothing was confirmed etc etc.Eventually it was announced that they were pulling out.We have had a slight glitch with Inghams as our return flight is now landing in manchester at 11.30 pm as opposed to 1.30 pm when originally booked.This is cos as already said they have stopped flights from some airports so just hoping that this wont get any worse.!

We are going to go back to Austria instead. I was just curious as to why they no longer offered Finland online really.

We had originally booked Lake Bled in Slovenia, but then had to change the date of our holiday and it suddenly became more expensive (had booked 16th Jan with free lift passes and ski tuition), so as it was more expensive we were looking at alternatives.

We liked Ruka, and would have considered going back but as the booking was originally through crystal then we have to ammend our holiday with them as well.

Booked to go to Ellmau now.

I always find Inghams more expensive than Crystal, perhaps we are just booking at the wrong time? Anyway this year we booked it all through Thomas Cook as oppose to online with Crystal, since we learnt our lesson the hard way last year. Must say Thomas Cook are a pleasure to deal with and they fair chased Crystal for us to change the booking. So much easier than doing it myself! plus they matched the crystal online price.
