Hi all,
Now we are half way through the year I thought many of you may have booked up for December. Are any of you going to Lapland on 2nd December? Anyone staying at the Snow Princess by any chance?

Hi there,
You will love Lapland and your children will be so happy. From reading other peoples experiences on here it seems to work well if you tell them a couple of days before you go so that they can enjoy the excitement, anticipation and preparation of going. They can also write their letters to Santa and give them to him direct!
One tip is for you to take extra pairs of gloves or mittens in case theirs get wet.
Yes alcohol IS expensive. There is a supermarket not far from the Snow princess so you could purchase it from there?
I developed a liking for their hot chocolate and brandy at the bar. A perfect %26quot;pick me up%26quot; after being out in the snow.
This will be our third visit to Lapland. IT really is a magical place.

Hi there again,
We are flying from Gatwick at about 6am. Check in is from 4.30 am!
yes have seen the northern lights BUT was from the plane when we were flying out of Rovaniemi a few years back.
did not see them on our visit in 2007 BUT we are really hoping to see them this year. The northern lights fascinates me.
