We are coming to Finland the last week of August and the first 2 weeks of September. Realizing weather is unpredictable, should we bring summer clothes (sandals, capris) or fall clothes (pants ,sweaters)Coming from Prague, I was planning on a bit of a summer wardrobe but----

The weather can be bright and sunny but it won%26#39;t be hot. Certainly you won%26#39;t see many people wearing sandals. You should pack a sweater.
|||
Pants, sweaters and a mosquitoe hat if you go to the woods.
|||
There are hardly any mosquitoes around by the end of August.
|||
Mosquitoes no, but the deer flys (Lipoptena cervi) aren%26#39;t much fun either.

Thanks for the advice. Having spent most of my life in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, I am only too familiar with misc. biters. Will follow advice and bring pants and sweaters.I am hoping for hotweather though- or atleast dry.Where is the best place for 2 days of nature walks?

As I said, you will be extremely lucky to get any weather that could be described as hot.
Finland is rich in opportunities for hiking. It depends on how far you want to roam - from the vast emptiness of Lapland to the suburban Nuuksio a short bus ride from Helsinki.
